Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) is a form of business process outsourcing (BPO) where an employer outsources or transfers all or part of its recruiting, selection and on-boarding activities to an external service provider. We have all seen the sweep of the human resources outsourcing craze (HRO) and how it has led the way for many companies to stay focused on their core competencies and not worry about the things they were never to worry about in the first place: like payroll, benefits, compensation, succession planning, performance programs, etc.
The RPO movement has greatly impacted the staffing, search and recruiting industry as we know it today.
